Di Denda Polisi di Adelaide Karena Speeding

Assalamualaikum,

Saya ingin berbagi pengalaman saat suami didenda oleh polisi adelaide dikarenakan pelanggaran speeding kendaraan. Kami menerima surat denda yang isinya kewajiban denda sebesar $417 yang harus dibayarkan dalam waktu 28 hari. Denda ini disebabkan karena Speeding/kecepatan seharusnya adalah 50 KM/ Hour, namun saat itu suami menyetir dengan kecepatan 60 km/h.  Karena saat itu suami tidak melihat sign/ rambu yang bertuliskan 50 km/h, suami mengira kalau kecepatan pada lokasi jalan tersebut adalah 60 km/h.

Mendapatkan informasi dari teman serta setelah membaca surat denda nya, kita dapat melakukan review terhadap case tersebut apabila dirasa mempunyai alasan agar denda tersebut di cabut dan dihilangkan/ trifling. Review yang kami lakukan adalah secara online yang tersedia di web polisi adelaide dengan menuliskan:

I am writing in relation to traffic infringement Notice : (nomor pelanggaran) committed at  jam on (tanggal). My International drivers License number is ........ and Vehicle Number Plate ..........

This is my first offence and I have a good driving record over 18 months since arrived and driving in South Australia.

On the date and time of the offence,  I was no intended to go over the speed limit 50 kph. I went to ..........  to inspect a car. I was unfamiliar with the location and for the first time went there. At that time I did not see the sign 50 kph, therefore i though it was 60 kph for normal speeding in that area. Now I will pay more attention to my speed and signs while driving.

Due to the situation above, I would be grateful if the Traffic Infringement Notice be reviewed and withdrawn.

review kami di proses oleh SA Police dan beberapa hari kemudian kami menerima email balasan yang isinya menolak review kami. Meskipun ini merupakan pelanggaran pertama kami saat mengemudi dengan alasan batas speeding yang di perbolehkan di Adelaide/ SA jika tidak melihat speeding adalah 50 kph.


SO BE AWARE IF YOU DRIVING IN SA KALO GAK LIAT SPEEDING SIGN,  KECEPATANNYA ADALAH 50 KPH :)))

Sebagai catatan : 

Apabila terdapat pelanggaran berat/ serious offence berdasarkan review guideline, maka SA police tidak akan mereview case kita atau tidak dikategorerikan sebagai trifling offence, contoh nya adalah  :

SAPOL will generally not consider reviews where road safety is jeopardised. Serious offences include:

• Offences involving high speeds
• Mobile phone offences
• Seat belt offences where no medical dispensation exists
• Multiple offences from fixed safety camera sites
• Rail safety camera offences
• Submission of false or incorrect statutory declarations that have resulted in an enforcement warning notice.
